About Us
Since 1964, the Mokelumne Wilderness has protected more than 100,000 acres of wonderful wilderness in the heart of the Sierra Nevada. As volunteers, we assist the US Forest Service in protecting and preserving this marvelous place.
Our Mission
We add our voices, our arms, and our hearts to the efforts to protect and preserve the Mokelumne Wilderness. We not only educate and share our enthusiasm with visitors, we also lead by example, observing the principles of Leave No Trace.
